Seamless and digital documentation of pan-European imports of substitute fuels

Some German federal states today already prefer the implementation of electronic pre-declarations of notified imports of substitute fuels. Further federal states are in the conversion phase. In a six-month pilot project, EEW Energy from Waste has therefore completely converted the previous processes at its locations in Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein to electronic processes and the eTFSPortal. Our vision is the eTFSPortal being used all across Europe. The underlying software is technologically flexible and universally applicable.”

EEW Energy from Waste (EEW) is Germany’s leading company for the generation of environmentally-friendly energy gained from thermal waste utilisation. EEW develops, installs and operates technically advanced thermal waste utilisation systems. Currently, round 4,7 million tons of waste are energetically recycled each year in the 18 company group locations in Germany and adjacent European countries. With the efficient utilisation of energy stored in waste, EEW produces process steam for industrial companies, district heating for residential areas and environmentally-compatible electricity for around 700,000 households.
